Black Fox Welcome Sign

Our clients requested a sign to help visitors find the drive way to their beautiful mountain home. They wanted something that fit their personality and the location of their home. Through one on one discussions and concept sketches we came up with a US National Park type sign that speaks to the avid outdoors people they are. We also discovered they have a unique black fox living on their property while the design was being finalized. We put a twist on the sign by incorporating the profile of a black fox and the client absolutely loved the idea. This sign was cut out on a CNC router and laser cutter from marine grade plywood and Baltic Birch. It was stained with a dark espresso coat. The pieces were glued together with TiteBond Ultimate and then the entire piece was sealed with two part epoxy penetrating sealer. This project was completed in November of 2023. The final dimensions are 37.25 x 26.375. It was hung with a French Cleat.

The clients were so happy with the sign and this photo, they used it as their holiday card for 2023.

Parts cut out on a laser cutter include all the stained portions of the sign.
The MAS penetrating epoxy is easy to use and gives a very durable coating for outdoor use.
